Juno The Norfolk Search And Rescue Dog Has Been Found After Six Days Missing Over Christmas.

Dogs are a part of the family in every possible way which makes losing them more heartbreaking but in this story has a happy ending.

Over 85 people from Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and Kent search and rescue teams got together to find the German shorthaired pointer named Juno. For Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, Juno helps find missing people but unfortunately on 21st December she herself got lost during a family walk.

After six days thorough search, on Monday morning Juno was at least found by a drone operator, near to where she got lost on the banks of the River Waveney, near Gorleston-on-Sea. A boat team moved in to save her from an unreachable area before getting united with her owner Ian Danks.

Mr Dank was happy and emotional when Juno was found alive and fine. Juno was taken to the vet for a check up and apart from some sore paws she was doing well.

When Juno was lost, a social media request was done to find the dog which reached over 500,000 people. And when she was declared safe and found on Facebook, people rejoiced.

Kudos to the team and all who went out of their way to help find this loving dog..
