Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner’s wife, has filed for divorce after 18 years of marriage.
The Yellowstone actor married the designer in 2004, and the pair have three children: Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12 years old.
It is with profound sorrow that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control led to Mr. Costner taking part in a dissolution of marriage action, Costner’s reps stated. They ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected while they handle this challenging time.
While the reason for the divorce remains unknown, Baumgartner is said to have cited ‘irreconcilable differences.’
They are also seeking shared custody of their kids, and Baumgartner is not seeking spousal support, which will be payable to the petitioner according to the provisions of the couple’s premarital agreement, according to a document by Costner’s lawyer.
The couple had a short divorce in 2003 when Baumgartner desired more kids and Costner was unsure about having more kids, but reunited before their marriage the following year.
The 68-year-old told in 2020 that the epidemic had strengthened their marriage.

This supposedly led to the Bodyguard actor seeking a week to shoot his sequences for the second half of Yellowstone’s fifth season in order to make time for his forthcoming movie, but this was purportedly denied.
And since then, Paramount has spoken out against these claims.
