Those who adored Princess Diana may find it difficult to accept Camilla Parker Bowles as queen consort, but it appears to be the absolute reverse of what they should be embracing right now. Per a former member of King Charles’ staff, Diana’s followers should be rooting for Camilla, particularly now that he knows what she’s truly like as a person.
Charles notoriously cheated on Diana with Camilla, which he confirmed publicly before her death, and many royal watchers accuse her for the royal marriage’s demise.
However, after Diana died, Charles and Camilla made their relationship public, and now that he’s on the throne, she’s the queen consort.
According to Grant Harrold, a former butler for Charles, numerous marriages fail the way Charles and Diana’s did, and while they’re royal, they’re still human.
It’s difficult when individuals pass judgment and point fingers, but he doesn’t believe people should pass judgment on others. It’s their private life, and situations come whether right or bad, he explained. But that was the best option for all of them, and they have to let it go.
