During her wedding to Travis Barker, Kourtney Kardashian inserted a particularly personal element into her veil.
The couple married in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday, and the bride donned a lingerie-inspired Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda lace and satin corset short dress.
When it came to choosing a veil, Kardashian opted to include some important touches, such as a picture of the Virgin Mary.
A similar tattoo on Barker’s head, which contains the phrases “family,” “loyalty,” and “respect,” inspired the Virgin Mary picture. Interestingly, the same phrases appeared on the veil.
In addition to the Virgin Mary, the eye-catching veil included an ultra-long train and hand-embroidered flowers inspired by Portofino’s Mediterranean gardens.
On Instagram, the 43-year-old published numerous professional images from her wedding, including one in which she stands with her newlywed spouse while he cracks open a bottle of champagne.
The mother of three accented her handmade gown with tulle gloves and lace heels, while her husband wore a black double breasted Dolce & Gabbana suit.
The whole Kardashian family walked out in style in Portofino in the days leading up to the wedding, and the bride donned another religious-inspired gown: a black gown with a portrayal of the Virgin Mary in the center.
Kardashian’s three children, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, were in attendance, as were Barker’s children, Landon, 18, Alabama, 16, and step-daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23.
Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian dynasty, attended her daughter’s wedding, as did the bride’s sisters, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie. Kim also brought her eldest kid, daughter North, 8, and Kylie brought her 4-year-old daughter Stormi.
The happy pair married last week, making things legally official. Following their courthouse marriage, Kardashian released many images.
“Till death do us part,” she said in the description of her Instagram image.
After a private wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in April, the pair left everybody guessing if they were really wedded. They didn’t have a binding legal marriage certificate, so it was all for show.
