Many people adored Lance Kerwin. The 62-year-old actor “was discovered unresponsive,” according to his spokesperson. His death happened in San Clemente, California on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Many people adored the actor, who rose to prominence in the 1970s with famous parts in television films such as “Salem’s Lot” and “The Loneliest Runner.”
The actor’s official reason for death has not been announced, and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Coroner Division has not responded to media inquiries.
Savannah, his daughter, revealed her dad’s death on social media with a family photo. She is deeply sorry to those they have not been able to personally contact, however Lance Kerwin died away yesterday morning, she said.
They cherish all of the nice thoughts, memories, and prayers that have been shared, she said. More information regarding afterlife rites will be shared in the following weeks. He cared for each and every one.

Kerwin was the youngest of five sons from Newport Beach. His dad was an acting instructor, and his mom was a talent agent; a profession in the entertainment industry was practically in his blood.
His first acting appearance came at the age of 13 in an episode of “Emergency!” in 1974.
He has appeared on episodes including “Little House on the Prairie,” “Police Story,” “Gunsmoke,” and “The Family Holvak.”
He was best remembered for his role as James Hunter in “James at 16,” which first aired on NBC as “James at 15” until his character reached 16 and the show’s title was altered.
He also collaborated with Martin Sheen on “The Fourth Wise Man” and appeared on “Murder, She Wrote” and “Final Verdict” before his final significant role in the 1995 picture “Outbreak.”
His most recent acting credit is from 2022, when he appeared in “The Wind & the Reckoning.”
Kerwin’s wife and five kids survive him. Thousands of admirers around the country and abroad will miss him much.
