Judah Grace Spear, a miracle baby who was born on 2/22/22 at 2:22 AM in delivery room 2 of a hospital in North Carolina. She was born to parents Aberli and Hank Spear as their first child.
It looks as if the number two was coming at them from all over the place. But as extraordinary as all those twos may be, there are a lot of other signs indicating to God’s work in this little one’s life!
Though the arithmetical parallels are appealing unbelievable but interestingly this is not what makes Judah a miracle child. There is something else in the story behind this blessed child that makes 2/22/22 so exceptional for Aberli and Hank Spear.
Aberli Spear undergone a several years of lengthy battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Although she came out conquering but doctors informed her and her husband that they’d be unlikely to conceive.
Aberli and Hank Spear considered in-vitro fertilization for conception but the enormous price tag put it out of their reach. Lastly, the couple decided to turn their fertility issues over to the Almighty God.
At last, Aberli discovered they she is expecting with the baby they never believed they would have. Doctors put Aberli’s due date at 2/22/22, but the couple guessed their baby girl would come on a different day as it is so rare that babies actually arrive on their expected due date.
The chances grew even thinner when doctors learned that baby Judah was ruptured. They encouraged Aberli on 2/20 and then it was the first-time mom ended up in labour pain for 26 hours.
Hospital staff put them in delivery room No. 3 when the couple first arrived. But coincidently, the monitors in the room weren’t working appropriately and staff moved the couple to room No. 2.
When the clock hit midnight on 2/22/22, Hank had a wild thought he shared with his mother-in-law. He said that it would be kind of crazy if she waited another two hours. And that’s just what takes place! Baby Judah Grace Spear arrived two hours later at 2:22 am on 2/22/22 in what Hank called divine timing.
So, while all the twos undoubtedly make for an interesting story but it’s the completion of God’s promise that makes it a miracle.
Baby Judah Grace is a produce of Aberli’s and Hank’s belief. They trusted the Almighty God to give them a child and God did it for them. That’s what gives the 2/22/22 birth meaning and that’s why Aberli feels it’s imperative to part their story to bring hopefulness to people to keep fighting and keep praying for what they want.
Aberli still feels like a dream. What she was told she could not have is in fact a truth and it is like looking at the impossible.
The couple said that today their prayer was answered. Judah Grace’s name fits her story perfectly. Judah means “praise” and she is a blessing for her family.
