Newborn dies hours after her mother gives her the first hug – her twin died in utero months before.

Molly Bragg and Michael Gray were eager to expand their family. The couple had a one-year-old daughter called Josie, and they were overjoyed to learn that Molly was expecting twins.

They, like many parents, probably began daydreaming about the future and visualizing what their children would look like, unknowing that their road would be fraught with grief and terrible loss.

Molly said in July 2022 that she kept her pregnancy private since it was full of doctor appointments and worrisome periods. One of their twins stopped developing at six weeks, according to the mother.

The parents had to bid goodbye to their unborn child but were delighted to get another healthy and thriving kid. Molly, on the other hand, got more surprising news when she went for her 12-week check-up.

Their remaining child had health issues and was considered high-risk. The mother went on to say that despite all odds, the child was strong and battling for survival- they’ve made it to the second trimester and will find out the gender shortly! Following that, she’ll release additional ultrasound images. They will be tested again later, so please say a prayer for them.

I haven’t posted a lot this pregnancy because it’s been filled with lots of worry and appointments. Our sweet little…

Friends and family wished and prayed for the best. Molly updated her Facebook page on October 15th, saying, due to problems, her miraculous baby girl, Madalynn Elizabeth, entered the world by emergency c-section this morning.

Madalynn was born at barely 25 weeks, weighing only 1lb 15.4oz and measuring only 12.6in long. Many circumstances were working against their angel daughter, yet they were grateful for every moment they spent with her.

Finally, the mom requested that netizens continue to pray for Madalynn, who had absolutely gorgeous long blonde eyelashes and a button nose. Everybody held their breath in the hopes of a miracle. The following day, however, the family delivered tragic news that their lovely angel baby daughter died encircled by the love of her mother and father. They didn’t have much time with her, but they made the most of it. She would have lived forever if love could have rescued her.

The baby died just hours after her parents hugged her for the first time. The couple went through what no parent should, and their anguish was compounded by the fact that they had already lost Madalynn’s twin in utero months before.

At 4:53am this morning, our beautiful angel baby girl passed away surrounded by the love of her mama and daddy. We…

Molly’s aunt, Sarah May Gray-Gandee, characterized the family’s ordeal as the hardest anguish any mother or father could bear.

Sarah also mentioned how their entire family had been broken. She created a GoFundMe page to aid with any financial problems and encouraged the public to contribute- Her beloved nephew and niece have endured an incomprehensible tragedy. Please consider giving to their account to assist them through this difficult time.

Sarah prayed to God to help her family get through this awful and hard period. Fortunately, their community jumped in to help in every way they could.

By October 20, more than $6,000 had been given, and the couple was overwhelmed by the love and kindness. Molly conveyed her gratitude by writing they thank you all from the bottom of their hearts. While she cannot thank everybody personally, they are grateful for all of the prayers, comments, texts, phone calls, and gifts. They are surely not going to be overlooked.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for the overwhelming amount of love and support from our family and…

Our thoughts and prayers are with Molly and the rest of her bereaved family. They lost their beloved angel before even meeting her, and their healing process will be difficult. May God give them the strength to persevere at this trying time. Farewell, brave little fighter.
