O.J. Simpson is mostly renowned for his infamy, therefore it’s no secret that he has his detractors.
Simpson, on the other hand, came under criticism on Christmas Day for an unexpected purpose. On December 25th, he tweeted a photo of himself and wished his fans a Merry Christmas.
Some followers were furious when they discovered a MAGA hat in the backdrop of the shot.

Simpson was a prominent athlete and broadcaster before being charged with the murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. In criminal court, he was acquitted of the murders, but a civil trial determined that he was guilty for both deaths.
He did not serve any prison time for Nicole or Goldman’s killings, although he did end himself behind bars.
Simpson was arrested and accused of armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2007. A year later, he was convicted and sentenced to 33 years in prison, with a minimum of nine years.
He was imprisoned at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada. On July 20, 2017, he was given parole.
