Prince Harry has reached an agreement with Penguin Random House to publish his memoir in late 2022. The book and audiobook will explore Harry’s public youth, military service in Afghanistan, and becoming a husband and father.
Penguin Random House’s Markus Dohle characterized Harry as one of the “world-renowned leaders, icons, and change-makers we have been blessed to publish over the years.” According to the BBC, the Duke of Sussex discussed the book with his family personally. According to a spokeswoman, the 36-year-old is unlikely to get authorization for the project from Buckingham Palace. The forthcoming memoir will feature the prince’s “errors and lessons learnt” during his life.
Harry will donate all book revenues to charity. According to a press release, the book is personal and sincere, as well as true and touching, and Prince Harry will present an honest and engaging personal image, one that informs readers that behind all they believe they know lies an incredible, brave, and encouraging human tale.

In a statement, Harry explains why he wrote the memoir- he is writing this not as the prince he was born as, but as the man he has become.He has worn many hats over the years, both physically and metaphorically, and his aim is that by recounting his experience – the ups and downs, the mistakes, and the lessons gained – He may help demonstrate that no matter where one come from, one have more in common than one believe. He is glad for the chance to share everything he has learnt in his life thus far, and is delighted for individuals to read an honest and entirely genuine account of his life.
Harry and Meghan resigned as senior working royals in early 2020 and relocated to the United States. The couple currently resides in California with their two-year-old son Archie and one-month-old daughter Lilibet. The pair has been honest about their difficulties as members of the British Monarchy.
Meghan said in her now-emmy-nominated March interview with Oprah Winfrey that she was “silenced” by the facility and denied care when she was experiencing a mental health crisis. She also brought up race when she stated that a member of the royal family had expressed fears and talks about how dark Archie’s complexion may be when he’s born. Meghan was reportedly so lonesome as a royal that she “didn’t want to be alive anymore” at one point. Queen Elizabeth issued a statement in which she indicated that the family was “saddened” to learn of Meghan and Harry’s difficulties and added, Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much-loved family members.
Harry has also been open about his personal difficulties. He discussed his mental-health journey on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, saying he wanted to end that pattern of genetic suffering in his family. He was thinking to himself, he does not want this job, and does not want to be here. This is not something he want to be doing. Consider what it did to his mother, according to Insider, Harry revealed. How is he ever going to settle down and start a family when he understands it will happen again? He has seen behind the curtain, the business model, and how everything works, and he don’t want to be a part of it.
As a result, Harry and Meghan are now focusing on their kids and careers outside of the monarchy. The two are collaborating to become a media behemoth. Harry and Meghan inked a multi-year production agreement with Netflix in September, which includes scripted series, docu-series, documentaries, films, and children’s programming. In April, they launched their first Netflix (NFLX) production, the forthcoming Heart of Invictus. Harry established the Invictus Games in 2014 to assist rehabilitate active-duty handicapped troops and veterans through sport. He stated on the program that “helping other people helps myself.”
