In 2018, after reviving her beloved classic series Roseanne, Roseanne Barr was the focus of “cancel culture.” Some saw Barr’s comments regarding former Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarret as racist. She was dismissed from the ABC relaunch and the entertainment industry entirely.
Barr reported being “cancelled” by those “woke” folks in her Fox Nation program. She said that they did not do this to anybody else in Hollywood, but they constantly mention Dave Chappelle and Louis C.K. Well, Louis C.K. did lose everything, but he did commit a crime. And Netflix ensured Dave Chappelle’s safety.
She is the only one who’s lost all and had their life’s work stolen by individuals she believed loved her. There was complete silence, she continued. There was no one in Hollywood who openly defended her. Barr made fun of gender identity and pronouns as well. These individuals have no comprehension of reality. They have always lived in a bubble. She said that asking questions has nothing to do with the actual world. In her words, ‘‘What is my gender, mom? What is my gender?’ Your gender is, get a job. That’s your gender.”
Barr then waited for applause from the crowd before continuing. What are their thoughts? What exactly is a woman? They are unaware of that? That question is asked often. What is a lady? I will explain what a lady is. She said she was a lady. That is what a lady is, alright? A lady is a person who cleans up the excrement of others. This describes a lady.
She continued that a lady is someone whose breasts dangle to her knees and whose uterus has prolapsed as a result of giving birth to five ungrateful, spoiled brats who have never had to work for anything in their lives. “Kiss my a**, my pronouns are”
Barr was “cancelled” in 2018 after comparing Valerie Jarret, who is black, to a Planet Of The Apes figure in a late-night tweet. ABC officials promptly removed Barr from the revival of Roseanne, despite her prompt apology and denial that she was aware Jarrett was black.
Barr expressed that it was a witch trial. They refused her request for an apology. Barr continued by stating that she was despised by many liberals because of her ardent support for former President Donald Trump.
When they killed off her character, it was a message to her that they wanted her to commit suicide, understanding that she is mentally ill or has mental health difficulties, she stated. Barr was alluding to the fact that ABC killed off her character on Roseanne and canceled the series before reviving it as The Connors with the original cast.
Roseanne Barr: Stop It! The comic talked on Fox Nation about why she felt it was time to return to the stage. Barr said, she was not even permitted to apologize for what occurred. She was blackballed and canceled from even commenting on what occurred, so she thought, Well, stand-up is a wonderful opportunity to come back and explain what occurred and reveal the truth about it, as well as speak about cancel culture and how awful and fascist it is.
The conservative celebrity said that other comedians have succumbed to cancel culture and are attempting to navigate the current social milieu. She said, they have no means of subsistence unless they absurdly pander to what the left deems appropriate. Let’s be honest: the left has zero sense of humor.
