Following an altercation in a high school cafeteria in Loudoun County, Virginia, officials stated that a school officer was transported to the hospital and a pupil was arrested.
According to a video, a Dominion High School student fought with the school’s resource officer, trading punches.
The 1 p.m. incident began after the kid was directed by an administration to go to the office from the cafeteria, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The youngster repeatedly refused, hitting a staff worker.
The deputy addressed the pupil in an attempt to soothe him down, but the teenager attacked him.
According to the sheriff’s office, the resource officer “defended himself while putting the student into custody.”
The cop was taken to the hospital by doctors and treated for his wounds.
The youngster was brought to the Loudoun Juvenile Detention Center after refusing medical care.
The teenager was charged with three misdemeanor charges of attacking a school official, disruptive behavior in school, and property destruction, as well as two felony counts of obstruction of justice by force and assault on a police officer.
