A church pastor informed his Indiana congregation that he had performed “adultery” approximately 20 years ago, which was quickly followed by a lady who said she was molested by him when she was 16 years old.
The statements were videotaped and shared on Facebook on Sunday at New Life Christian Church and World Outreach in Warsaw. With hundreds of thousands of views, the video has subsequently gone viral.
The Kosciusko County prosecutor’s office is looking into it.
He committed adultery, Pastor John Lowe II informed his congregation. He explained that it was about 20 years ago. It went on for much too long.

There was just one individual involved, and there have been no more. He is unable to defend himself. He made a mistake. That is something he feels compelled to express, and one deserves to hear it.
Lowe received a standing ovation. But then a woman approached the microphone and told her story.
It had been 27 years, not 20. When he took her virginity on his office floor, she was just 16 years old. Does he recall that she asked, adding she is sure he does.
She stated that “lies and deception must cease.”
She said to Lowe that she was a captive, and he held her in his jail. She is no longer a captive.
Several individuals then yelled accusations at Lowe. He admits to having intercourse with the lady as a teenager.
Lowe stated that it was incorrect. He is not able to make things right.
A few dozen individuals surrounded and supported him as another man led a prayer.
Lowe informed the church that he was resigning as pastor.
The church issued a statement announcing Lowe’s resignation.
The church expressed that in the aftermath of what has now been exposed. They are grieving and shattered for a woman who has lovingly attended and served in the church for many years, as well as for her husband and family. It is our deepest prayer and desire to love, support, encourage, and aid her through this healing journey in any way they can.
