Random acts of compassion are ageless, and this one is no exception. After a Chicago Cubs game, a blind guy tried and failed to grab a cab. Until Casey approached.
Witness Ryan Hamilton was on a rooftop near Wrigley Field when he took a couple photos of the event. Then Spelman, 26, stood by the blind guy and called a cab for him.
She even inquired to see if the man preferred to sit in the front or the rear.
Casey is from Indianapolis and was in town to see pals in Wrigleyville. Yusef Dale, an associate US attorney in Chicago, was recognized as the blind guy.
While she went out onto the street to hail a cab, Casey and Dale spoke about baseball, the crowd, and the afternoon game. After a few minutes, a cab arrived, and Dale and Casey kissed before getting in.
Wanted to give a shout-out to this gal, Ryan Hamilton captioned his photo. They have no clue who she is, yet they’re on the rooftop of Old Crow Smokehouse in Wrigleyville. A blind Cubs fan had been attempting to hail a cab for some minutes when a lady approached and inquired if he required assistance hailing a cab. She remained with him until a car arrived. It’s amazing to see such generosity in a world when the media depicts so much hatred. Please share generously in the hopes that her goodwill will spread.
It’s a Facebook post with over 38,000 likes and reactions. Why should it not?
Wanted to give a shout-out to this girl. No idea who she is, but we are in Wrigleyville on the rooftop of Old Crow…
