A family in Florida is left heartbroken after losing their 4 year old little girl who was terribly killed after a driver collided into the playground of a kindergarten.
The tragic death takes place when an 18-year-old woman driving a Jeep Cherokee turn sharply off a DeSoto County road. The woman drove through a chain-link barrier around a playground, thrashing two kids. One of them being just a 4-year-old Maleena Valdez who was playing inside. The vehicle eventually came to a standstill after hitting into a tree.
Emergency officers who were instantly sent off to the area transported Maleena to Gulf Coast Hospital but sadly she pass away there later. The second child was taken to DeSoto Memorial Hospital and was said to be in grave situation.
Officers who reached at the sight of the mishap detained the driver for not producing a legal driver’s license. She was later recognized as Kiara Morant from Tampa.
At the time, Kiara was retained into the DeSoto County Jail as the crash remains under examination. But she was free from jail soon after but that occurred before Maleena pass away. Kiara may now face extra charges in link with the child’s death.
A crowed funding page has been made to help Valdez’s family with her funeral. It describes that Maleena was the light of their lives and she will be badly missed by all who loved her. The page says that Maleena was a hilarious little girl who loved her mother and father more than anything in this world. It continued that Maleena was so innocent and pure-hearted and she still had so much life to live.
Maleena’s mother, Savannah, has another child to look after. The page notes that due to these unexpected conditions, Maleena’s Mother will be out of work for some time to mourn the loss of her sweet baby girl and we all know that bills do not stop and on top of it, funeral costs will also now be added to the everyday things that was already existing before this awful heartbreak.
The page reads that the family is asking for any help to ease even a part of the weight so that they can take this time to be together and grieve without added worry. It says carry on to pray for Maleena’s mother, Father Miguel, sister Jazziah and the rest of the family and friends and that justice will be served in this terrible heartbreak.
