They stayed together till Allain died this week. Schneider published a snapshot of Allain on Facebook, as well as a picture of their hands on their wedding day in 2019, showing off their rings.
He disclosed his wife’s death in the caption of the post. He asked fans and friends to email any images they had of Allain to the family. He then instructed everyone to closely embrace their loved ones.
Schneider had been married to Elly for 21 years before meeting and marrying Allain. He said that he was aware that he was going to get divorced but didn’t know when it would happen. Schneider said, that took the wind out of him.
He added that he understood that it was difficult to be married to him since he was often gone from home for lengthy periods of time. Before their divorce, the couple had been living apart for three years.
Over their two-decade union, the couple raised 3 kids together and intended for their divorce to be as peaceful as possible. They wanted to demonstrate to their kids that a divorced couple can be wonderful parents.
Their relationship improved considerably after they were divorced for a while, and they were able to become friends again. Schneider claims that their talks improved, they laughed together again, and they were able to be the best parents they could be for their 3 kids.
Schneider said that getting divorced was without a doubt the best decision they could have made at the moment. Although Schneider knew he couldn’t marry his children’s mother, he hadn’t given up on love.
He fell in love with Allain and soon started bragging about his new relationship in the media. He addressed her as his girlfriend and grinned before stating that they did everything together.
Allain joined her husband’s John Schneider Studios and produced all of her husband’s films, which he directed and authored. She also took on the role of Schneider’s manager, arranging his appearances and even treating him to his favorite junk food.
Yet, the couple’s marriage nearly didn’t happen due to an error with Schneider’s GPS. Allain had taken a break from filmmaking, however when she returned to Los Angeles, she offered to buy Schneider dinner in order to explore a project.
Schneider grew frustrated with his GPS and became disoriented on the way to supper. Allain assisted him in finding his way, gave him supper, and persuaded him to collaborate with her on a project. A few months later, their relationship blossomed into something more.
Their romance started on February 14, 2015, when the two shared a pizza. They celebrated every Valentine’s Day after that with a pizza.
They hadn’t spent a single day apart since they got romantically linked, and Schneider thought they were “ideal” for each other. When he married her, he realized they wouldn’t have much more time together.
Allain was diagnosed with breast cancer seven months before she married Schneider. Schneider’s first PET scan lit up like a Christmas tree, but she cleared.
He said that they went through several stages, such as not understanding what to do, yet Allain studied all she could and discovered what cancer did and did not like.
They discovered that cancer disliked an increased heart rate, so they walked much more often. They also discovered that cancer thrived on sugar, so they forbade Allain from consuming any sugar.
Allain revealed in 2020 that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 HER2 negative cancer. Schneider went on to say that s he was three years into a five-year expiration date.

Allain claimed that the sickness first appeared on her skin, and she was diagnosed by a dermatologist. They immediately started looking for remedies to help her manage her pain.
While Allain died recently, she and Schneider did all they could while she was still alive. They name themselves the team to beat, he remarked. Schneider described his wife as extraordinary.
Schneider said she continued with her cancer treatments after Allain was doing well for a short time, but she considered them more of a maintenance program than anything significant at the time.
The couple enjoyed a few wonderful years together during which they discovered what benefited Allain and eliminated everything that was no longer beneficial to her. Schneider was distraught when he learned of his wife’s death.
He said that she was no longer in agony and that she deserved to relax after struggling for so long. Schneider battled beside his wife every step of the way, never allowing her to feel alone.
Peace be with you, Allain, Alicia.
