We’ve all seen the police department lip sync contests that have swept the country. Departments from throughout the nation are joining in on the fun by performing and filming their own unique lip sync routines and putting them online. They might also issue a challenge to another department to do the same. Hundreds of videos have appeared on the Internet, and each one seems to be better than the previous.
Today’s unique lip sync comes from Chief Hepler and his K9 Fox of the Hollywood, Alabama, Police Department. They chose to lip sync to MercyMe’s famous song, ‘I Can Only Imagine.’ This cop and his dog sing this passionate song together, and it’s truly incredible.
This is the first time I’ve seen a faith-based lip sync. Many of these films are sophisticated productions with special effects and large crowds. However, this stripped-down lip sync forces you to listen to the words and be overwhelmed with the spirit of the Lord.
I adore it when the cop kneels and lifts his hands to the Lord in heaven. What an incredible demonstration of faith and dedication to our God! I believe this is my favorite lip sync to date, and I hope it continues to be shared. What an incredible moment to see this cop put his faith on display for the whole world to see alongside his K9, Fox. Can I have an amen, please?
