Jamie Lee Curtis has been like mom to Lindsay Lohan, literally, and has given her movie daughter and pregnant mother some hilarious parenting advice.
The two played mother and daughter in the 2003 smash hit “Freaky Friday.” The 36-year-old star is expecting a child and told in a June 8 interview how the Oscar winner encouraged her to approach parenting.
She was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine,’ Lohan remembered Curtis saying.
In March, the “Parent Trap” star revealed on Instagram that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, were expecting their first child. The pair married in July 2022.
They are blessed and excited, she captioned a photo of adorable little white onesie with the words “coming soon…” inscribed on it.
The “Mean Girls” star revealed how she found out she was pregnant. She said that she was in Dubai at the time and felt strange.
She said to her mother that she thought she might be pregnant.
She subsequently tested positive for pregnancy to validate her intuition.
She remembered it being so unexciting, laughing as she narrated the tale. She entered the room with her husband. She tossed the test away. ‘Guess what?’ she said. ‘They are?’ he asks.
They were approximately five and a half weeks along at the time, she said, adding that she’s excited for the next chapter in her life.
She can’t wait to see what the feeling is like and what it’s like to just be a mom, she added.
It’s overwhelming, she said, in an excellent way.
Curtis is ecstatic as well. In April, she uploaded a photo of Lohan’s baby bulge that she had posted.
“My friend and film daughter @lindsaylohan is growing up!” Curtis wrote. “So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be.”
