Chris Pratt felt ‘broken’ before meeting now wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, at church.

Chris Pratt said that he went through a difficult period in his life before meeting his future wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, in a church.

During Drew Barrymore’s self-titled talk show, the 43-year-old “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor discussed a personal low period that ended with the best gift of all.

It’s been five, maybe six years since he met Katherine, and God has a fast-forward button. When the timing was perfect, he informed Barrymore. One is struck. One falls madly in love and ties the knot. It feels lovely to have two beautiful girls to add to his family.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter met Chris in the spring of 2018 and announced their engagement in January 2019. On June 8, 2019, they married in Montecito, California.

They have two daughters, Lyla, two, and Eloise, eight months.

There was a time in his life when he was truly suffering and felt extremely shattered, revealed the Marvel Cinematic Universe actor.

Pratt was previously married to actress Anna Faris for eight years until their divorce was completed the following year. Jack, their 10-year-old son, has shared custody.

He went on to say that for him, discovering a greater power and relying on it, feeling like, ‘Please help me,’ and then feeling saved and then meeting, the lady of his dreams and thinking, ‘Wow, this is, wow, this is amazing.'”

When Barrymore revealed she was yearning for love but was scared to put herself out there, Pratt advised her.

It’s all about time, remarked the “Jurassic World” star. There is a beautiful plan out there for one, and he believes one just needs to have confidence.

The moment one has trust, everything falls into place.

Chris and Katherine met “in a place of faith,” according to Barrymore, 48.

Yes, they did, Pratt said. They first met in a church.

He recalled sitting in the front row the first time he saw Katherine.

Their bond was “extremely immediate,” according to Barrymore, who echoed Pratt’s previous admission that “God puts everything on fast-forward.”

That made logical sense, he admitted. It’s similar to solving a puzzle. Then there’s a piece, and one thinks to oneself, ‘I’m sure that’s the one.’ as though things simply clicked together.

Barrymore recalled Maria Shriver’s daughter dropping by her program to promote her mother’s current book.

She linked with his wife on her book about forgiveness, which she believes is such a wonderful thing, she added, “The Gift of Forgiveness.”

She created this book, Pratt said, and she documents various different experiences and their own journeys with forgiveness. There’s nothing in there that says people have to do it one way or another; she was just looking at individuals on their forgiveness journeys, and it’s a fantastic book. She’s fantastic.

When he goofs up, he quipped, he’ll to his wife, ‘Hey, remember your book?’

I hope this wonderful pair always stays happy and in love together.
