Cops Returns With The Poor Man Who’s Card Was Declined.

In Charlotte, North Carolina, a man walked into a shoe store and found a good pair for himself. And he truly needed the new shoes, because the ones he was wearing were in terrible shape…literally falling off of his feet.

But when he tried to use a credit card to buy them, it was declined. So he left, probably feeling a little more than defeeted. After about 15 minutes, the man came back to the store with Officer Paul Siler, from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

He was asked by the cashier if there was a problem. “No, there’s no problem,” he responded. “But if you still have the shoes (for the man with him), I’d like to go ahead and buy them.” It was a very kind deed on the part of the officer, but the cashier showed some kindness as well, kicking in half the amount of the shoes to split the cost of them with the officer.

It was a pure act of kindness on both their parts, and it’s certain the man truly appreciated their gestures. Perhaps if you share this post it will inspire others to show their kindness in similar situations. There’s only one way to find out.
