After 23 years of marriage, “General Hospital” actor Steve Burton and his wife Sheree Gustin have called it quits.
Burton announced the split on his Instagram Story on Wednesday. He wrote that he wanted to clarify things. Sheree and he are no longer together.
The announcement comes only a few days after Sheree said she was expecting a child.
Steve said she recently revealed that she’s expecting her fourth kid. The child does not belong to him. They are still co-parenting their three wonderful children. At this time, they would prefer privacy.
Makena, 18, Jack, 16, and Brooklyn, 7, are the couple’s three children. It is unknown how long they had been apart.
Sheree shared a photo of her developing baby bulge in March. “Life truly is full of surprises!” she captioned the photo.
Steve and Sheree married in 1999 after meeting on the set of “General Hospital.”
