Harry Says Diana Was ‘Chased To Her Death While She Was In A Relationship With Someone That Wasn’t White’ And Feared ‘History Was Repeating Itself’ With Meghan

Earlier working royals Prince Harry and his spouse Meghan Markle have released a series of documentary on May 21, 2021 in collaboration with Oprah Winfrey for mental health awareness.

The Me You Can’t See,” the documentary special, features Winfrey and Harry conversing emotional happiness and mental health with a number of celebrity guests. The subject of mental health is close to Harry’s heart. His mother, the late Diana, was recognized for her openness about mental health and adored for her open and candid discussions about the issue.

In one of the series, Harry talks about the racism that his mother confronted while dating the Egyptian movie maker Dodi Fayed. Harry makes a comparison between the discrimination Fayed and his mother faced and the racism he and Meghan have encountered.

While Harry and Meghan started detaching themselves from the royals in January 2020 when they declared that they would be marching back as senior royals, it wasn’t till they spoke with Winfrey in an exclusive interview in March 2021 that they started to disapprove the way in which the mass media and the royal family have spoken about and portrayed Archie and Meghan.

Harry makes similar criticisms in “The Me You Can’t See” talking precisely to the mental toll of the biased remarks. He then makes a comparison between the hatred Markle has met and the discrimination that his mother and Egyptian beau had to go through in the late 1990s. Harry said that the history was repeating itself.

Harry said that his mother was chased to her demise while she was in an association with somebody that wasn’t white. He added that history is repeating itself and they’re not going to stop till his wife pass away.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles filed for break up in 1996 and around a year later, the paparazzi spotted the princess with Dodi Fayed. Diana and Fayed pass away in a car accident while trying to get away from the paparazzi, who were chasing them in Paris.

Harry clarified that he feels sorry not talking out earlier about the racism his wife met. He said that his main guilt was not making more of a stance prior on in his association with his wife.

Harry’s remarks concerning racism come after the controversial interview with Winfrey, in which the prince and Meghan spoken about the rising gap between themselves and the royal family. They precisely disapproved the royal family and the media, mainly for the way they spoke about their son, Archie.

Meghan expressed to Winfrey that there were concerns and conversations about how dusky Archie’s skin might be when he’s born. She added that her mental well-being suffered after linking with the royal family and she described her mental state as terrifying.

Following the interview, Elizabeth released an official statement answering to claims of discrimination.

The statement said that the questions raised up are concerning, predominantly that of race and they are taken very seriously and will be addressed privately by the royal family.
