Jennifer Aniston is honoring Sandra Bullock’s birthday with endearments.
On Wednesday, the Murder Mystery 2 actress paid honor to Bullock’s 59th birthday by sharing numerous never-before-seen images of the Oscar winner.
Aniston, 54, began her Instagram Story with a touching note, sharing her nickname for Bullock and saying, “Happy Birthday Sand-a-La!!”
Bullock is seen drinking from a caricature mug based on Aniston’s Apple TV+ series The Morning Show while giving the camera a thumbs up in the snap.
The second photo Aniston released was a group image with Bullock and her Friends co-star Courteney Cox. “WE LOVE YOU!!!” Aniston included three red heart emojis in her message.
She seemed to be completing her earlier emotion when she uploaded another picture of Bullock with a friend, stating, “SO MUCH!”
In the end, Aniston concluded her birthday homage with a humorous video of Bullock taking command in the kitchen while mixing some kind of filling in a dish.
Aniston and Bullock have been friends for a long time, and they even spoke about it on the cover story of Interview magazine in February 2020. They discussed how actor Tate Donovan, whom they both dated in the 1990s, introduced them.
“[He] was a very patient human being, given that he dated us both,” Bullock quipped to the magazine.
“He seems to have a type,” Aniston observed, praising Bullock as “talented.” Funny. Kind. Introspective. Generous.”
Other celebrities, like Octavia Spencer, took to social media to wish Bullock a happy birthday. They appeared in two films together: A Time to Kill (1996) and Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005).
Spencer, 53, shared a snapshot of herself and Bullock beaming for the camera on Instagram, as well as a cute candid of the two joyfully meeting one other at the 2012 Academy Awards ceremony.
“There are some people you meet whose impact goes far beyond their work: their aura, their kindness, their joy,” she said in the post. Sandra Bullock is one of these people. Please join me in wishing her a very happy birthday in the comments! 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎁.”
Ryan Reynolds also wished Bullock a happy birthday, referencing their 2009 film The Proposal.
Reynolds, 46, joked about her birthday present this year by posting a clip from the rom-com’s much-talked-about naked scene on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday to the inimitable and stunning Sandra Bullock! For your birthday this year, I got us both intimacy coordinators. And an HR department. And clothing?” He put pen to paper.
In the Proposal scene, Bullock’s character, Margaret, stumbles while reaching for a towel after a shower and collides with Andrew (Reynolds), who has just stripped naked after going for a run.
