Mom Asks Rude Teens To Be Quiet During Movie, Days Later Hears From Their Mother.

Rebecca Boyd went to see a movie with her 12-year-old daughter at Tannehill Premiere Cinema 14 in Bessemer, Alabama, but rather than a pleasant evening out, the parent was irritated by the adolescents sitting behind her in the theater. They were boisterous and kept tapping her seat, much to her chagrin. When she had had enough, she turned back and respectfully requested that they stop.

Rather than complying with their mother’s suggestion, the teenagers reacted angrily and proceeded to misbehave throughout the film. Rebecca chose to tell the kids that they had absolutely wrecked her night after seeing the movie. Her spouse had been laid off. That was probably the last movie experience her family would be able to enjoy for a while, and she wished the teenagers would know how upset she was with their disrespect.

Rebecca Boyd assumed the matter was finished once she vented her rage. She was, however, wrong. The disrespectful kids’ brother had observed the incident and planned to inform their mother. Kyesha Smith Wood was taken aback when her teenage son informed her of what had occurred. This was something she couldn’t let go of. So Kyesha went on Facebook in search of the lady who had reprimanded her 13-year-old daughter and stepdaughter.

This is a long shot, but she is looking for a woman who was at the Tannehill Premier, Kyesha said, detailing the time and place of the film’s screening. She went on to say that she had left her daughters off at the movies with her son, who subsequently informed her, much to her “humiliation and embarrassment,” that her daughters were “rude and obnoxious during the movie,” and she intended to identify the lady who had addressed them about their behavior.

The woman she is searching for addressed them and asked them to be quiet, and they were disrespectful, Kyesha went on to say. If you are this woman, please message her, Kyesha shared the message on her own Facebook page as well as the McAdory-McCalla Community News page. It was then posted on the Facebook page of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. It ultimately made its way to Rebecca Boyd. She felt she had to contact Kyesha after reading the remainder of her social media statement.

“I can assure you that these girls are being strongly dealt with and appropriately punished. This rude, disrespectful, and awful behavior is unacceptable, and they owe you an apology,” Kyesha stated in her public statement, attempting to locate the lady who had been humiliated by her children. “My husband and I are having them write your apology letter tonight, and we would like to pay for your next movie and snacks out of their allowance. Please message me if this is you. I apologize profusely for their disrespect.”

Kyesha confesses that the incident had a significant impact on her daughters. Her daughters are horrified. They have been humiliated. That’s fine since she told them, ‘You know what, You’re not going to do this again. She is glad, though, that Rebecca took action. She’s the most gracious, kind, and forgiving woman she has ever met. She is so humbled, and has been telling individuals that the real hero of the story is her, Kyesha added. She took it upon herself to correct her girls, and no one else around them did.

Kyesha was also pleased with herself as a mom after efficiently disciplining her kids with their own tools. “Mom broke the Internet!” she laughed. “They do Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, and they master it all. I’m like, ‘You are never going to get 180,000 likes! So, just act right, use it responsibly, because obviously, I am doing something better than you.”

The ladies learning their lesson isn’t the only positive outcome of Kyesha’s article. The Boyds even received a few job offers, and the message struck a chord with parents nationwide. As Rebecca said, Kyesha’s article exemplifies parental responsibility and demonstrates that there are decent individuals in the world who care about the children they raise.

The mothers believe it’s simply good old-fashioned parenting. When you witness a youngster acting inappropriately, you call them out. When you are a parent and discover your child’s inappropriate behavior, you hold them responsible and force them to apologize. That is how you ensure that everybody gets a happy ending.
