Tom Sizemore’s family deliver tragic update as he remains in critical condition after stroke.

According to accounts, the 61-year-old fainted at his Los Angeles home and was sent to the hospital.

Unfortunately, though, Sizemore’s management has stated that his family is deciding on end-of-life matters after having been advised by physicians that there is no further hope.

In the early hours of Saturday, February 18, Tom Sizemore fell at his Los Angeles residence and was evacuated to a hospital by paramedics, according to the statement. He was discovered to be suffering from a cerebral aneurism caused by a stroke.

Since then, Tom has been in a coma and in intensive care because he is very sick.

Today, physicians told his family that there is no longer hope and have suggested an end-of-life choice, it says. The family is now deciding on end-of-life issues, and another statement will be published on Wednesday.

They are requesting privacy for his family at this terrible time, and they want to thank everyone for the hundreds of words of support and prayers that have been sent, the statement continues. It’s been a hard period for them.

Sizemore, who is probably best known for his roles in “Saving Private Ryan” and “Black Hawk Down,” put a throwback picture of the cast of “Heat” (1995) on his Instagram page just hours before he died.

Other acting giants in the shot were Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer, Danny Trejo, and Jon Voight.

Sizemore has long had legal issues outside of his outstanding acting career. He was convicted of domestic abuse against his then-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss in 2003, and he was sentenced to six months in prison in 2005 after being found attempting to falsify a urine test.

The 61-year-old has previously talked openly about his drug difficulties, claiming that Robert De Niro even checked him into treatment.

We can’t imagine the anguish Tom Sizemore’s family is going through right now. All we can do is offer them our prayers and love.
