After 26 years, the Way of the Dragon actor found he had a love child who had come forward with the revelation. Despite having no prior knowledge of her, Chuck has opted to embrace her with open arms.
Chuck Norris married his first wife, Dianne Holechek, after they met in high school and fell in love. They married in December 1958, only six months after graduating from North Torrance High School, where their courtship began.
The couple had been married for 30 years and had two kids (Mike, now 60, and Eric, now 57). The couple split in 1988, but Norris still remembers Holechek fondly and talks highly of her. The actress said that she was always supportive of his objectives, even when they were financially challenged.
Norris expressed that she has always been a strong supporter of his ambitions. Even when they were scrimping and scraping, she never complained.
But in a biography published in 2004, Norris startled followers by admitting to having an affair that resulted in a love child. He admits to cheating on Holechek in 1962, the year Dina Morris was born. Norris, on the other hand, was unaware of Dina’s existence until she contacted him in 1991, at the age of 26, claiming to be his biological daughter.
Norris acknowledged having a short affair with Johanna while stationed in California as a member of the United States Air Force. They had a passionate encounter in the back of a vehicle, which resulted in Dina’s conception. Norris said that, to his shame, he never told Johanna that he was married.
Despite her mother Johanna’s warnings, Dina was intent on reaching out to Norris and did so. He consented to meet with her and Johanna as well, making the occasion emotional and memorable.
Norris recounted the first time he and his daughter’s eyes met, stating that he didn’t need DNA or blood tests.
Rather, he held her, and they both burst into tears. The duo instantly clicked, and their friendship has only grown stronger since.
