TikToker @lindsaydonnelly2 decided to get retribution when her spouse accused her of not doing anything around the home.
So she resolved to do no cleaning for a few days and then reported the findings online.

She captioned a video of her messy home covered with dirty dishes and rooms in severe need of cleaning, “Then I left town for a girls trip… #marriagehumor.”
But the video may have gone a little more viral than she expected, since millions of individuals have seen it since.
In a subsequent video, her husband joined her to clarify the issue and apologize for the remark.

Donnelly has already produced further videos demonstrating that she and her husband can laugh at their internet celebrity.
She released a video teasing that she ‘might unintentionally roast you in a TikTok video and let 7 million people join in on the fun,’ and since then, the original video’s viewing count has risen to over 13 million.

The TikToker then added another video to the mix in which she grilled her practically perfect husband, claiming he cleans every day more than she does.
People commenting on the popular video haven’t always seen the amusing side, with several of them urging her to divorce her spouse.
Given her following videos, in which she describes her other half as a ‘nearly ideal spouse,’ a divorce seems unlikely for this pair, despite the TikTok comment section’s best efforts.
Others who weren’t actively attempting to get her to seek a divorce chimed in with their thoughts on her choice to quit doing any chores.

“I want to do this, but it would drive me insane,” one person remarked, while another acknowledged that they’d attempted it but forgot they were meant to be making a mess and put out their trash a few hours later.
Some stated they’d been using this strategy for six months and that she should have grabbed all of the abandoned garments so she could “dump it all on his side of the bedroom.”
Another person noted that they’d gone through the same thing, only to fall ill and have their spouse acknowledge that housekeeping was much more difficult than they had anticipated once they began doing it.
