Music’s most renowned power couple has spent their money on a 30,000-square-foot house in Malibu overlooking Paradise Cove.
The couple paid $200 million for their property, making it the most expensive transaction ever for a residence in the West Coast state.
The record for the most expensive property sold in the Golden State traded hands for $177 million when Marc Andreessen acquired it before the Carters rushed in and bought their new home.
Outside of California, the Carters’ latest house acquisition is stunning. When it comes to national real estate acquisitions, the couple’s new home is second only to billionaire Ken Gryphon, who spent $238 million for a penthouse in New York in 2019.
Tadao Ando, a Japanese architect, created the mansion. William Bell, a well-known art collector, used to own the building and spent 15 years refurbishing and rebuilding the concrete mansion.
It is situated on an eight-acre cliff in the Billionaire’s Row neighborhood.
The mansion was marketed for $295 million, indicating that the ‘Break My Soul’ hitmaker and her Roc Nation CEO hubby got a good bargain.
The billionaire couple is apparently planning to preserve their $88 million, two-acre Bel-Air estate, which they purchased in 2017.

It should come as no surprise that the pair can afford to retain two multi-million dollar houses, given that Beyoncé is worth an estimated $500 million and HOV is worth an estimated $1.3 billion.

The singer and actress from Houston expressed her aspirations to carry on her mother’s heritage by developing her own items.
