Bruce Willis’ Wife Gets Emotional Sharing How Daughter, Nine, Helps Care For Her Dad.

Bruce Willis‘ wife claims their daughter is helping the star cope with dementia.

On May 22, Emma Heming Willis posted an Instagram video describing how their daughter Evelyn, 9, desires to assist the “Die Hard” star, whose family indicated in February that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a group of neurodegenerative diseases affecting the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.

Heming Willis said that she has to tell this story, and she is going to try to do it without crying since when Evelyn told her this story, she was a complete puddle.

Heming Willis, who shares Willis’ 11-year-old daughter Mabel, then related how Evelyn told her the previous day that people with dementia might get severely thirsty, causing Heming Willis to inquire how she heard it.

“She says, ‘Well, I was at school the other day, I had some free time, and I was looking up fun facts about dementia,” she said.

“That’s not funny, but it’s amusing.” And she is really her father’s kid since these two are obsessed with strange information.

So Emma told her, OK, Evelyn, they’ll always make sure Daddy has a bottle of water with him. Thank you for informing her. Inquiring and educating herself about her father’s sickness is the most caring and considerate thing she can do.

Hydration is critical for those with dementia, according to the Alzheimer’s Society.

A person with dementia may become dehydrated if they’re incapable of expressing themselves or recognizing that they’re thirsty, or if they forget to drink, according to the group’s website.

This can result in headaches, confusion, urinary tract infections, and constipation. These may aggravate dementia symptoms.

According to the organization, patients should drink one and a half to two liters of water every day. When the individual is eating, a drink should be provided, and a clear or brightly colored glass is preferable, while keeping it in the patient’s line of sight. The glass should also be light and not have a complex form.

The Alzheimer’s Society also advises dementia sufferers to consume a variety of beverages, such as tea, coffee, hot liquids, fruit juice or smoothies, and soup.

Willis’ daughter’s willingness to assist coincides with her mother’s attempts to learn more about the actor’s health.

She added that it truly is one of the most affectionate and compassionate things that they can do as carers, as buddies, as family, to educate themselves about their loved ones’ diseases so that they can best stand up for them and encourage them in the best way possible.
