Ella Bleu Travolta, John Travolta’s daughter, is attempting Tom Cruise’s coconut cake.
The Grease actor, 69, uploaded a video of his 23-year-old daughter replicating the coconut bundt cake Cruise famously gifts his celebrity pals every year for the holidays on Instagram on Monday.
“What do we have?” Travolta inquired as Ella prepared the icing. “This is a remake of the Tom Cruise cake,” she said.
“I’m watching,” the Saturday Night Fever actress replied as she slathered the yellow icing over the cake. “I’m watching. I’m watching,” he remarked.
Ella then scattered coconut pieces across the cake, conceding that “it’s a little bit messier” than the dish made famous by Cruise, 60.
Travolta said after sampling the cake that it was delicious.
Travolta’s 12-year-old son, Benjamin, also loved the dessert. It’s fantastic, he stated in the video. It looks like it, Ella replied, laughing as she zoomed in on his plate, which was nearly totally empty.
Ella and Benjamin are shared by the actor and his late wife, Kelly Preston, who died in July 2020 at the age of 57 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Jett, the couple’s son, died in 2009 at the age of sixteen.
