Fans are astounded by how young Barry Manilow seems shortly before his 80th birthday.

Okay, we need to figure out where Manilow gets his youth from since the singer doesn’t appear to be a day over 40.

The singer, with a career spanning more than 50 years, attended the Tony Awards at the United Palace Theatre in New York City over the weekend, ahead of his birthday on June 17.

And Manilow made a strong first impression with his blue jacket and black suit trousers.

“It’s Barry Manilow,” one Twitter user said. He looks fantastic.”

“Who else just googled Barry Manilow’s age?” asked another. He turns 80 this week, spoiler warning!”

A third person said, “A great voice.” Mum liked him as well. It’s hard to think he’s approaching 80 years old.”

But not everyone praised him, as one person stated: “With all that botox and work done to his face, my guy Barry Manilow is starting to look like Madam the Puppet from the old Hollywood squares my word. He’s a damn legend regardless tho.”

The ‘Copacabana’ hitmaker, who is currently on tour, recently spoke to the Mirror about how he maintains his youth.

He said that it was just luck! It’s just blind luck. He is very old. Let’s not talk about it; it’s just very depressing. He consider of people who are 80; they look older than him do, he continues.

They’ve given up. That is not him.

And the multi-award-winning vocalist shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

He has remarked that he is still getting started. He is always ready for the next one.

Throughout his 59-year career, the iconic singer-songwriter has sold over 85 million records worldwide and recorded 13 platinum and six multi-platinum albums, making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

‘I Write the Songs,’ ‘Looks Like We Made It,’ ‘Mandy,’ and ‘Copacabana (At the Copa)’ were among his many popular songs in the latter part of the 1970s.

He’s collaborated with Bette Midler, Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughn, and Dionne Warwick.

Besides creating and performing songs for himself and other artists, the singing legend has written and sung songs for musicals, films, and advertisements for companies such as McDonald’s, Pepsi-Cola, and Band-Aid.
