Rorie Buckey and Robert Irwin are red carpet officials!
On Monday, the two attended the Sydney premiere of Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One. The 19-year-old son of late TV icon Steve Irwin placed his arm around his new girlfriend as they posed for photographs for their first public appearance together.
Irwin wore an all-black suit, while Buckey, the late Heath Ledger’s niece, wore an asymmetrical black gown with a side cutaway.
The excursion comes almost seven months after the couple was pictured strolling in Queensland, Australia.
Irwin and Buckey were reportedly seen purchasing burgers and fries from a nearby eatery before walking to the beach, according to Australia’s New Idea.
Since then, they’ve been seen together at the Australia Zoo in December and the Perth airport in April.
In October, the wildlife conservationist, who wrote the photographic book Robert Irwin’s Australia, said that his elder sister Bindi Irwin wanted him to meet a special someone following the birth of their daughter Grace Warrior in March 2021 with spouse Chandler Powell.
He said that it’s pretty funny since, of course, his sister has gotten married and had a kid, and there’s always a lot of rumors that go around that Bindi is expecting a second child or that they’re having triplets.
There are always so many crazy things that occur, he said, so Bindi always says, ‘Robert, it’s your turn now. You’ve got to find someone to take the pressure off of me!’
While visiting the Australia Zoo in June 2022, the celebrity had to gently avoid the attention of a fairly persistent lady who tried to gain his phone number. In a TikTok video, the lady described him as “so cool.” “I was wondering if I could have your number” she continued.

Robert then demonstrated his gentlemanly demeanor by replying to the visitor, “Well, I’m very flattered,” before sending her to his social media presence.
He replied that the simplest method to contact him is on Instagram, since then his people can monitor it and see when it comes through since his number is getting mixed.
But that wasn’t enough for the lady, who replied, “Well, I actually DM’d you last night to tell you I was coming here today.”
He politely answered, “Oh no,” and said he would “look it up” after learning her name.
