Tina Turner’s 2nd Husband Helped Her Find Happiness & True Love After Abusive 1st Marriage.

The music world has united to mourn the famous Tina Turner, who died at the age of 83.

The singer, well known for singles such as ‘Simply the well’ and ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It,’ was confirmed dead by her publicist, prompting fans to pay respect to the superstar.

She was dubbed ‘The Queen of Rock and Roll’ after selling over 100 million albums worldwide and winning a dozen Grammy awards throughout her illustrious career.

She is leaving behind her husband, German music executive Erwin Bach, who she credits with helping her find true love after she suffered abuse from her first husband, Ike Turner.

Tina said Ike ‘instilled dread’ in her and hit her many times. Ike Turner revealed in his memoirs that he’d smacked Tina and punched her to the ground.

Tina met her real love, Bach, during her second marriage, and they were married for 37 years.

Their romance started in 1986, when EMI dispatched music executive Bach to Dusseldorf Airport to welcome her upon her arrival, and they hit it off right away.

He was there to present a gift from the record company, a Mercedes Jeep, but she was more intrigued by Erwin, whom she characterized as ‘love at first sight’ in her memoirs, My Love Story.

She wrote that her heart instantly began to beat BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, drowning out all other sounds. Her hands were freezing.

So this is what they mean by love at first sight, she reasoned. She is not prepared for this.

They were verified to be dating later that year and have been together ever since, albeit it took them 27 years to marry, with Tina and Erwin getting married in 2013.

Tina got gravely sick a few years after their marriage, having recently survived intestinal cancer and a stroke, when physicians informed her that her kidneys were failing.

She refused dialysis because she didn’t want to “live on a machine,” and she even signed up for an assisted suicide service when she realized she could die.

Her last chance of life seemed to be a transplant, and it was at this point that Erwin stepped forward and gave one of his kidneys to his wife.

Erwin informed Turner in My Love Story that he ‘didn’t want another woman or another life” and that he was willing to give one of his organs to her so she could live.

Testing revealed that he was a potential donor for his wife, and the pair had surgery in April 2017 to transplant one of Erwin’s kidneys into Tina.

The best moment was when Erwin came rolling into her room in his wheelchair. Tina wrote of their reunion after the life-saving procedure.

He managed to seem decent, even gorgeous, as he welcomed her with an enthusiastic: ‘Hi, darling! I was so emotional – happy, overwhelmed and relieved that we’d come through this alive.’
