Mattie Jackson and Connor Smith married eight years after they were engaged. She uploaded a snapshot of her wedding gown, which was first shared by her guest, Lindy Aguirre. Jackson looks stunning in a strapless, fitted white gown with an extra transparent layer that falls from her shoulders to her feet. This second layer is adorned with little spherical white pieces that are distributed around the cloth.
The stunning bride accessorized her look with delicate accessories and white heels. Her hair falls freely over her shoulders in lovely waves. Lindy, Mattie’s visitor, calls her “an actual angel.” Mattie later uploaded a picture of herself surrounded by friends.
Jackson greatly awaited the day when she could finally call herself Mrs. Smith. She had uploaded a happy photo with Connor against a seascape a week before, with her engagement ring clearly exposed. “1 more day,” she captioned the sun-kissed shot on the eve of the party.
On her 30th birthday, Alan Jackson’s daughter got engaged. The proposal, which she had thought to be a birthday celebration, caught her off guard and filled her with appreciation. Mattie proclaimed Connor to be the greatest gift in her life in a social media post that included multiple photographs of the engagement ring.
Six months after they met, Mattie revealed her relationship with Connor on Instagram. He is the brother-in-law of her closest friend. Connor was “more of an answer” to Mattie’s prayers for mending her shattered heart.
Her first husband, Ben, died three and a half years before she met Connor. In 2018, he tripped and hit his head, resulting in an 11-day medically induced coma. Ben, sadly, never recovered.
Alan Jackson and his wife, Denise Jackson, have two additional children. Their eldest child, Mattie Denise Jackson, was born on June 19, 1990. Alexandra “Ali” Jane Jackson, born on August 23, 1993, is her successor. Dani Grace Jackson, Alan’s youngest child, was born on August 28, 1997.
