After his wife was voted runner-up, the husband of a recent beauty pageant candidate rushed the platform and threw the winner’s crown on the floor!
Here’s the deal: On Saturday, Emannuelly Belini, representing Várzea Grande, was being crowned at Brazil’s Miss Gay Mato Grosso 2023 when the husband of 2nd place winner Nathally Becker came on stage with some evident reservations.
Check out the crazy video below-The husband takes the crown just as it’s about to be put on Belini’s head and smashes it on the floor! He throws it down once more while everyone is in a state of shock before attempting to flee with his wife, but security intervenes to stop them.
After the sore loser episode, the event issued a statement clarifying that Belini was indeed the winner of this year’s event while also denouncing Becker’s husband’s conduct and stating the organization’s camp would take necessary legal action after the occurrence.
Someone took the phrase “#1 fan” a bit too literally.
