Chrissy Teigen has revealed the first photo of her new child.
The 37-year-old Cravings cookbook author released the first picture of her newborn kid, Wren Alexander Stephens, on Instagram on Wednesday. Teigen and her EGOT winner husband, 44-year-old John Legend, had their newest addition through surrogacy on Monday, June 19.
Wren is sleeping in the snap, draped in a white blanket with stars, his entire head of hair standing straight up. Teigen captioned her post,
Teigen’s post includes a detailed account of her surrogacy procedure, stating that she’s always desired four kids.
The couple already has two children: Esti, 5 months, and Luna Simone, 7, as well as Miles Theodore, 4.
In 2021, they contacted a surrogacy agency, with their initial correspondence inquiring about possibly having two tandem surrogates, each bringing them a healthy baby boy or girl. Kinda of twins.
Teigen decided to attempt carrying one more time along the way. Instead of utilizing two surrogates, Teigen carried one of their infants through the IVF procedure while their surrogate got a second transfer.
“We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” she continued, referring to their most amazing, affectionate, kind surrogate, with whom Teigen was pregnant for a time. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens.”
“Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
The couple’s latest arrival comes only months after the birth of Esti. Teigen posted some artistic reactions to a slew of ugly internet rumors that she covertly hired a surrogate for Esti’s birth last month.
Teigen jokingly remarked, “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump,'” above an intimate photo taken on Jan. 13 after her cesarean surgery.
